About Blue Practice

Blue Practice is a clinic management software platform developed, owned, and operated in Newfoundland & Labrador by Powered by B. Located at 18 Rostellan Place, St. John's, NL A1B 2T9.

Our Story

The software was created starting in May 2013 through collaboration between the owner and his wife, an established family doctor. The owner identified inefficiencies in existing medical clinic management systems and sought to modernize the industry with a more user-friendly solution.

Our Mission

Blue Practice aims to modernize all aspects of clinic management with the option to operate securely outside the clinic via tablet, smartphone, or computer. Our platform enables clinics to reduce staffing costs by eliminating dedicated billing positions while improving billing collection rates and reducing paper usage.

Our Team

We maintain a team of six developers based in St. John's who support the system and rapidly implement new features. We have established strong relationships with Medicorp (MCP) finance personnel and have received MCP endorsement of the product. Our rapid response team assists with billing deadlines and IT emergencies.
